Voyce Memos is an indie group comprised of three musicians. Richard Borger, main producer/audio engineer originally from Florida and currently working out of his own home studio (Meraki Recordings) in Houston, TX, began working shortly as a solo artist before meeting Stephen Mokulis and Akash Gupta, whose unique backgrounds and influences began to blend into a style all their own. The group dedicated time primarily after their full-time work days and on weekends, turning casual jam sessions into basis for songs and eventually recordings that would later become much of their first album. Melding various electronic, rock, dance and indie artists (including Tame Impala, Daft Punk, Phoenix, Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Death Cab for Cutie, Washed Out, Zhu and many others) Voyce Memos music captures the ideas of human changes and the decisions we make, especially in relationships, love, and self-understanding. Driving funky bass lines and guitar riffs, on top of ethereal vocals and mixed electronic/live drumming, create something to which everyone can relate and groove. Their album "Catching me in Stride" will be releasing April 19, 2019.
